Modeling A Dream

Thursday, February 10th, 2011

Early childhood is almost always the time in our lives when we begin to dream. In this innocent phase of our lives, we have always dreamed of becoming someone or achieving something, and the things that we do during childhood although seemingly play only, was a significant part reflected who we want to be or what we want to do when we grow old. Becoming a doctor, a pilot, a captain in the army, or even wanting to reach the top of Mount Everest created so much frenzy in us and allowed us to dream. During special occasions, our parents and close relatives would give something they know would make us happy and it is always connected to the things we dreamed of. Take a child who wants to become a pilot for example, if on his birthday he receives a model airplane, can you for a bit imagine the amount of joy he receives when opens the gift box? Or a boy who wants to be a captain in the army, can you imagine the glare in his eyes when he sees a model ship slowly come out from the gift box?
