In those days (gee, I sound like my mom), people dropped things off behind the stores. Anyway, my mom saw this recliner – well, I’m not sure that it could be called a chair because of its torn upholstery and broken frame – behind the store. She stood admiring this heap when a man came up to see if he could help her with something.
